1. What is the Pedagogic Administration Module

The e-Estudo School Administration Module organizes the registrations for net and teaching administration: registrations and enrollments; setting up classes and student and teacher allocations; transfers and Teaching Unit Transcripts. It works as a prerequisite module for the e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration module. The e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration module can, however, import data from other registration systems that are compatible. .

The e-Estudo School Administration Module allows the management in three levels:

1. Managing the System - it is used by the Administrator of the System to register the Teaching Nets or Teaching Units (in case they do not belong to a Teaching Net) and an Administrating user of Net of a Teaching Net or Teaching Unit that will have access to the registered data. .

2. Teaching Net - it allows the Manager of the Teaching Net (or independent Teaching Unit) to register his Teaching Units, units and users.

3. Teaching Units- it allows the management of the registered Teaching Unit(s) . .

2. The vision of the System´s Administrator

Level 1 - Administrator of the System

This management level allows the Administrator of the System to register the basic data for the operation of the other levels and also the Teaching Nets or Units (in case they do not belong to a Net) which will make up the System.

3. Beginning to use the system

The operation of the System is based on the internet, that is, each screen of the program is a page and the menus are accessed through "links."

Just below the illustration at the top of the page, a menu will appear which indicates in what part of the system the user is and it allows him to go back to previous stages, through the links of this menu.

When error messages appear, you can use the resources of your own navigator to return to the previous page.

Access Login

This is the main screen that gives access to the system: enter the name and the user's password and click on "Send" to enter the program or "Clean" to delete the data from the screen.

As the system allows different types of users to operate it, the login pages should have already identified the type of user that is trying to access the system, so that when gaining access, he will already be directed to the available work options for this type.

2. Working with the main tables that feed the system

So that the system can be operated, it is necessary, initially, to include some basic data, which are organized as "tables." .

Each "table" will store a certain collection of basic information, which will allow the organization and classification of the main data (registration of units, teachers, students and users). .

One cannot create a Teaching Unit if one has not first created (filled out) the tables, for example. regarding teachers and respective disciplines. In the same fashion, one cannot create a group if one has not created (filled out) the table of classrooms (with the respective number of places). Therefore, the first completion demands a step-by-step which begins with the completion of the tables.

4. a. . Table - Types of Teaching Unit

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Types of Teaching Units

Registers the types of Teaching Units which can exist in the system (Federal, State, Municipal, Private).

In this option, the user can include, to alter or to exclude the registrations of the table. The screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered), acronym and description of the type of the Unit.

Include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "Include" which is located in the menu (at the top of the page, last word to the right. Fill in the requested fields and click on Send to execute the inclusion.

To alter

Using the mouse, click and select the type of Unit to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration

<To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the type of Unit to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. b. Table - Teaching Modality

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Teaching Modalities

It registers the teaching modalities (Infantile, Fundamental, “EJA” Teaching, etc).

In this option, the user can include, to alter or to exclude the teaching modalities. In this registration, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered) and the description of the teaching modality.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "Include" which is located at the top of the page (last word to the right). Fill in the teaching modality and click on Send to execute the inclusion.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the teaching modality to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude: :

Using the mouse, click and select the teaching modality to be excluded, click on "Exclude" .A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. c. Table - Stages

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Stages

It registers the stages of the teaching modalities (Day care and Pre-school in the Infantile Education, initial Years and final Years in the Fundamental Teaching, etc).

In this option, the user can include, alter or exclude the existent stages in each teaching modality. In this registration, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered), the description of the stage, the teaching modality the one that it belongs to and the indication that the stage is of professional teaching or not.

To include: :

Using the mouse, click on the link "Include" which is located at the top of the page (last word to the right). Fill in the necessary data and click on Send to execute the inclusion. .

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the Stage to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration. .

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the Stage to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. d. . Table - Courses

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Courses

It registers the offered courses (free or vocational).

In this option, the user can include, to alter or to exclude courses (vocational or free). In this registration, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered), and the description of the course.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "Include" which is located at the top of the page, last word to the right. Fill in the course and click on Send to execute the inclusion.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the course to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the course to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. e. Table - Series

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of series

It registers the series that compose each teaching stage.

In this option, the user can include, to alter or to exclude the registrations of the table. In the registration of series, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered) and the description of the series.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "Include" which is located at the top of the page (last word to the right). Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the series to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the series to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. f. Table> Disciplines

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Disciplines

It registers the disciplines which are given, they are not grouped by series, course or stage, therefore the same discipline can belong to several series.

In this option, the user can include to alter or to exclude the registrations of the table. In the registration of Disciplines, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered) and the description of the discipline.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page, the last word to the right. Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click with the mouse and select the discipline to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the discipline to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. g.Table - Types of users

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Types of Users

It registers the types of users that will have access to the system. The type "teacher" is obligatory and it should be marked. It is important to emphasize that this is the only type that defines access level to the system and functionalities; the others are just for definition of positions (director, secretary, rector, etc).

In this option, the user can include to alter or to exclude the registrations of the table. In the registration of Types of Users, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered) and the description of the user type.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page (the last word to the right). Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the type to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click and select the type to be excluded, click on "Exclude". A message will appear on the screen for the user to confirm the exclusion.

4. h. Table - Parentage degree

Inclusion, alteration or exclusion of Parentage Relationship

It registers the Parentage relationship of the responsible person for the student's attendance, it should be marked when it registers the type "mother", for the system to identify automatically the student's mother's name.

In this option, the user can alter or exclude the registrations of the table. In the registration of Parentage Relationship, the screen is composed of Id (the content should not be altered) and the description of the type of relationship.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page, the last word the right. Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click and select the user type to be altered, click on "Alter". Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page, the last word to the right. Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

5. Using the Registration of Teaching Nets

Inclusion, Alteration or Exclusion in the Registration of Teaching Nets

It allows the inclusion, alteration or exclusion of the Teaching Nets which will make up the system. Using the mouse, click on the link "Registration of Teaching Nets", in the main menu to do the maintenance of the registration.

To include:

Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page, the last word to the right. Fill in the requested fields, except ID, and click on Send to execute the alteration.

To alter:

Using the mouse, click on the option "Alter" which appears to the right of the name of the Teaching Net. Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration

To exclude:

Using the mouse, click on the option "Exclude" which appears to the right of the name of the Teaching Net.

OBS: In the fields "Individual Teaching Units" select yes if the Teaching Units belonging to the Teaching Net will access the system individually, that is, if it will hire the service separately.

5. a. Inclusion of users

In this option, the user can include, to alter or to exclude the users that will access level 2, School "Administration - Teaching Net". In this stage, a single user's creation is advisable, which will be responsible for the other users' of the Net/Unit registration. Using the mouse, click on the link "Users" which is located beside the name of the Net/Unit to do the maintenance of the registration.

Incluir:
Using the mouse, click on the link “Include” which is located at the top of the page, the last word to the right. The system will open another screen for the registration of all of the user’s information; fill in all of the fields correctly. Click on Send.

To alter:
Using the mouse, click on the option "Alter" which appears to the right of the user's name. Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration

To exclude:
Using the mouse, click on the option "Exclude" which appears to the right of the name of the Teaching Unit.

5. b. Inclusion of Teaching Units

To include:
Using the mouse, click on the link "include" which is located at the top of the page, the last word to the right. The system will open another screen for the registration of all of the user's information, fill out all of the fields correctly. Click on Send

To alter:
Using the mouse, click on the option "Alter" which appears to the right of the user's name. Alter the data and click on Send to execute the alteration

To exclude:
Using the mouse, click on the option “Exclude” which appears to the right of the Teaching Unit.
