e-Estudo
Why e-Estudo?
The computer initially arrived at the schools preferentially for the general offices use. In the unit or in the net, it helps in the organization of registering data naturally expressed in numbers (about students, teachers, classes etc, as well as absences, grades and accounting and fiscal data). it is essential for those leaders who are normally involved in
School Administration (see the comparative chart of process and IT handbooks -"
Compare” ).
Very frequently, the software used in these computers was developed based on general principles of administration and, when referring to an academic module, it deals primarily with absences and grades. In other words, little is devoted to the teachers' tasks and to specialists in education (planning, preparation and execution of the pedagogic work), concentrating on administrative needs.
The
e-Estudo was created with concerns that teachers and specialists have over the fact that many of the tasks - linked to planning, execution and counting of results - are repetitive, stressful and bureaucratic, occupying time and resources that could be destined to educational activities. Its purpose is to improve the quality and to facilitate the processes of both School Administration and of Pedagogic Administration
The
e-Estudo School Administration Module contains functionalities that make it essential for administration: it organizes registrations for the administration of nets and of school units. It is necessary (although not exclusive) and it works as a prerequisite module for the
e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module.
The e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module
offers integrated participation of managers and teachers in the educational process, starting with planning (Calendar and Norms of the Net; Management and School Council Guidelines; Planning by Discipline) until results are obtained.
School Administration Module: registrations and enrollments, forming classes and allocation of students and teachers, transfers and school reports. Read more
Pedagogic Administration Module: planning, preparation, execution, analysis and counting of results and making of reports of educational activities. Read more ,
The
e-Estudo offers, therefore, three Levels of Action and respective competences:
1. Teaching Net (the secretary's or manager’s vision of the school net): all schools considered;
2. Teaching Unit (the director's or manager’s vision of the school unit): the school is considered;
3.Class Attendance – The Teacher (the Teacher’s vision): considers the respective groups and disciplines.

Pedagogic Administration Module
The
e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module uses the information contained in the database of the
e-Estudo School Administration Module where there is information on schools, disciplines, series, periods, rooms, classes, students and teachers. The cadastral information can, however, be gotten in other databases, outside of the system, as long as they are stored there.
Produced by a team of experienced professionals supported by professional researchers in education, the
e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module makes true the dreams of teachers, directors and secretaries, come true, taking over the monotonous and repetitive tasks as:
- " To register content data;
- " To account for and to count absences and presence;
- " To make calculations, considerations, averages and percentile;
- " To fill out reports on results and attendance;
- " To emit report cards and transcripts;
- " To provide Integrated Planning (Net, School and Classroom);
- " To harmonize in practice what was planned.
Planning is never again going back to be ingnored
- " Planning begins at the direction or general office of the school net. Through the Level of Action Teaching net, the head organs of the school net plan the calendar, norms of the net and even contents or themes foreseen for the period;
- Through the Level of Action Teaching Unit, the guidelines of the school are presented for the direction and management to contemplate the school plan and pedagogic project of the school;
- In the Daily Level of Class Action - for the teacher, the planning of discipline is made. There, the teacher finds the calendar with the norms, themes and guidelines of the net and of the school. The classes will be created, prepared, launched and they will be accessible in the calendar in agreement with the planning, and will stop being a mere bureaucratic activity;
- “Leaders and teachers will always have access to the plans for the year, month, week or day;
- What was planned is then had as accomplished. On the foreseen day, the planned content is launched as given content;
- “In case of needed alteration in any activity foreseen along the year, the change is brought about automatically as re-planning.
It stimulates creativity
The
e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module makes the educators' work much more creative, through the following conditions:
- “The work is accomplished without concern of daily releases of subject matter: everything happens automatically, based on how it was planned and the teachers are reminded of the programming;
- "The e-Estudo Pedagogic Administration Module itself informs when the student is in a summer school situation;
- "There is a defined space to organize and to document the parallel summer school situation for the student: in a table, the activities and the results are registered. When these are satisfactory, they are brought to the evaluation table and the student leaves the “summer school” condition (with an icon beside his name). .
.
This makes the evaluations much more dynamic
- "It provides the evaluation of the participation and enthusiasm in classroom. The same for the interactivity, self-evaluation, extra-class activities, practical classes and group or inter-group work;
- "There is a space for observation and automatic consideration (the professional's criterion) of multiple forms of evaluations (presence as well);
- "It is a tool for the teacher to define his own model;
- All of the calculations are made and the result is attributed automatically, according to the criteria offered for his choice;
- "It exports data for the making of graphic reports dealing with the performance regarding student, class, disciplines etc. .
